Every other printer in the world seems to work just fine. As far as I know there was a software update from Apple a while ago (at least since 08) that for some reason prevents the installer from loading the reader on an Intel Mac. Printers or software as HP is the only hardware forum that I have found that people are complaining in. It seems logical that it's something to do with HP I gave away my HP printer to some soldier that could use it and went with a Canon. If HP won't do their job and see if it's on theirĮnd, and PureEdge won't claim responsibility, and I'm not even going to get started on Microsoft then go with what works. If no one wants to take action or fess up to the problem then change what you can. The government should have stuck with UNIX and kept it's programmers. Unfortunately this time I'm pretty sure it's not a Microsoft issue unless it's one of their billion subroutines that kills processing

If this doesn’t resolve the problem then you would need to contact the software vendor for support.
If you have the media for the software you can try uninstalling and then reinstalling PureEdge. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Third Party Software can be solved.
Using Third Party Software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly.
Are you able to print from Wordpad or Notepad? Is so then this would indicate a problem with the PureEdge Viewer software.
